LIS ER STILLE (DK)
Lis Er Stille er utvilsomt et av de mest progressive og originale bandene på den danske musikkscenen de siste årene. Siden starten i 2004 har de rukket å gi ut tre album, blitt skrytt opp i skyene av ikke mindre enn bladet Rolling Stone turnert land og strand rundt, men til tross for det er dette deres debutkonsert i Norge. Med sin spredte musikalske bakgrunn draes elementer fra alle musikalske hjørner inn i låtskrivningsprosessen. Resultatet av dette ender opp som en gyllen bue mellom det episke og storslåtte til det mer lavmælte og lekende. Til tider kan det nesten høres ut som en mashup av Muse og Sigur Rôs remixet av Aphex Twin. Nytt, innovativt, uforutsigbart og kompromissløst er den røde tråden.
ARISTILLUS
Aristillus består av fire unge herrer fra hovedstaden som spiller indiecore med en dyp inspirasjon fra pioneerer som Snöras, Dominic, Rumble in Rhodos, JR Ewing og Kaospilot. Fysisk Format har sett fremtiden innen norsk hardcore og slipper skiva "Devoured Trees and Crystal Skies" i 2011. Albumet er produsert, innspilt og mikset av Ruben Willem (Haust, Okkultokrati) og består av storslått og dypt imponerende indiecore presentert av de yngste debutantene på Fysisk Format noensinne. - Yngve Hilmo, Fysisk Format
FLEUR DE LIS
Fleur de Lis består av fire medlemmer fra forskjellige deler av landet. Inspirasjonskildene er alt fra Isis, Mogwai, Cult of luna, Sigur Ros til Jeff Buckley og Pink Floyd. Selv om utgivelsene så langt er få har de mye spennende materiale å presentere denne kvelden. Fryd og gammen.

Enmanns-elektronica-songwriter-eskapade? Ja, noe sånt. Latextyggegummi, eller Åsmund Kittang, er en av de få personene som kan kravle rundt på hva det måtte falle han inn og få musikk av det. Tenk Elliot Smith møter Radiohead på sitt mest pop-elektroniske.
Saksa fra Myspace: "Latextyggegummi består av meg, Åsmund. Jeg liker å lage enkle låter, men gjør samtidig mitt ytterste for å gjøre de lyttbare. Noen ganger lykkes jeg, noen ganger ikke. Det er hva jeg liker ved å være et etmannsband, og det jeg hater ved å være et enmannsband- Jeg kan ikke skylde på noen andre hvis sangene mine er elendige."

02.10.10 LIKE RATS FROM A SINKING SHIP, GOONFIGHT & THE CHRISTIANS SUBSCENE
Så si fra dagen de så lyset for tre år siden, har vi prøvd seriøst fem-seks ganger å få de på besøk. Tilfeldighetene har aldri spilt på lag med noen av partene, så det er med stor glede og stolthet vi kan skrive at de endelig kommer og spiller opp til dans. Som om ikke det er nok, har de vært breiale nok til å dra ut på en landsomfattende turnè, utelukkende på steder med fri aldersgrense. Hvilket bedre sted å avslutte turen enn i hovedsataden på Sub? Om du ikke skulle ha hørt om Like Rats før, så er det ikke annet enn det feteste electro-hardcore bandet Norge noensinne har hosta opp. De har hittil gitt ut en EP; SXY SXY GSW EP, og er for tiden i studio med ingen ringere enn produsent Alex Newport, som tidligere har leika seg i studio med band som at The Drive-in, Melvins, The Mars Volta, Sepultura samt 65daysofstatic. Ikke akkurat småtterier.. På norgesturen skal de utelukkende spille debut-fullengderen fra start til slutt. Urpremiere med andre ord... Det er rett og slett ikke mulig å finne noe som helst negativt med dette bandet. Du har ingen bedre steder å starte høstferien din enn på Sub denne kvelden. Fortsatt ikke overbevist? Se under..
Fyttikatta. Fytti-fytti-fytti....fytti. Vi hadde i vår gleden av å oppleve Goonfight i et svett tettpakka kjellerlokale, og tidligere i høst på Camp Indie-scenen på Øya. Kjapp snedig indie-hardcore, eller "Melvins on speed" som de selv sier. Samma hva, dette er så snerrende, frenetisk, smart og energisk at vi ikke vet helt hvor vi skal gjøre av oss. 19 oktober dukker debut albumet deres opp i hyllene, så om du er gira på en sneak-peak vet du hvor du får det. Ikke lenge etter smugles de til Englandsturnè, dette blir stort.

THE AMSTERDAM REDLIGHT DISTRICT (FRA)
The Amsterdam Red Light District was born during October 2005 when some friends decided to get together in the attempts of creating some Rock n’roll in a new project: Maxxx at the guitar, Greg played bass, Julien behind the drums and Franz was on the mic. After a few compositions, the sound of the band quickly developed: A mix of hardcore, punk and metal with influences like Refused, The Ghost Of a Thousand, Death By Stereo, Raised Fist or The Bled. After their first show in June 2006 well established French bands Flying Donuts and Elevate Newton’s Theory and some good critics, the band changes its line up with Franz's replacement as lead singer by Ivan, who was the previous singer of Wanapeek. After only 2 months the newly formed band recorded their first EP: "Narrow Corridor", with 3 tracks.
In July, 2007, they went to NSR Studio (Uncommonmenfrommars, Dyonisos, Elevate, Minimum Serious) to record 3 new songs for a new EP called "Let's celebrate the end". A tasty mixture of Comeback Kid, The Bled, Raised Fist and At The Drive In... A demo which will make an appearance in the press (ROCK ONE January 08 and PUNK RAWK February 08).
November, 2008, it is a new chapter for TARLD with Elio's incorporation to replace Ivan. He integrates easily with the band and new influences start coming into the mix. Elio brings a more hardcore style of singing having major influences in the likes of Snapcase or Raised Fist. Sweat, screaming, sharing moments with a crowd…Playing shows is what they love doing the most and they have had the privilege of playing all around France (Lyon, Strasbourg, Nancy, Annecy…) with bands like Sick Of It All (USA),

Fishbone (USA), Eths (FR), AqME (FR), Born From Pain (NL), Grimskunk (CAN),
Rentokill (AUT), This Is A Standoff (CAN)… The Amsterdam Red Light District
recorded their first album "Dear Diary" during the summer of 2009 which
includes a featuring of the charismatic James Isaiah Munoz, singer of The
Bled (Rise Records), Arizona-USA.

On March 9, 2010 the bands 5th studio album,
The World Is A Thorn, hit shelves. “heaviest but most melodic” album yet. It also introduces new guitarists Patrick Judge and Ryan Helm. And new collaborations with artists like Christian Älvestam (ex- Scar Symmetry), Bjorn “Speed” Strid (Soilwork), and Dave Peters (Throwdown). The single “collapsing” from the new album has gained widespread recognition and has
added to the “heavyness” of the bands new avatar and lineup. jettisoning fashionable trends and easily recognizable cliches in favor of traditional heavy metal power and melodic hooks.
ANTESTOR
Antestor is one of Norway’s earliest black metal bands, playing a raw form of death metal with the stylistic touches of black metal and Christian lyrics. They started their career during the start of Norway’s “second wave of Black Metal”, which led to them receiving much criticism from these bands, Mayhem in
particular. by Cacophonous Records, which also released records by bands such as Dimmu Borgir, Sigh and Blood Storm, and was actually dropped from Cacophonous Records after the label discovered
that Antestor held
Christian beliefs.
Norway under the name “Crush
Evil”. They released two demos early in their career, and in 1994 they
recorded their debut album, Martyrium , although not released until 2000.
They dubbed the style of their early work as “sorrow metal” rather than
misapply the tag “black metal”. Jan Axel Blomberg (better known as Hellhammer, the drummer for Mayhem) was Antestor’s session drummer on their latest two releases

Vardøger from the innerdeep forests of Norway was brought together as early as in 1995, and resurrected 15 years later to give a refreshing and atmospheric
show at NordicFest 2010! of the most talked about mysteries coming from the North. A territory known for spectacular nature, cruel frosty weather and spirit changing dark metal feeling.
IN VAIN
With "Mantra", In Vain takes the step up amongst the heavyweights of the genre. This album proves that the band is in it for the long haul, and it is safe to say that this is the best In Vain-album to date. Keep your eyes open for "Mantra". 2010 is going to be the year of In Vain.
DIAMONDOG

and made a video for each of them. stating their position as one of the still most promising band in the norwegian music scene after more than a decade of hard efforts. They have an energy and power on stage that shines
through and make them into an explosive liveband! and metal in your face, very much like Tyler Durden running a steamer into a house of glass. The vocals are intershifting between bright harmonic melodies and primal screamo, while tons of hyperactive guitar-riffing run free in the background, trying to pick a fight with the nearest passerby, Diamondog is a barrel of TNT that has yet to detonate in the face of the masses, even though they have made earlier appearances on TV and has a long record of appraisal from both critics and fans. To top it off, they have worked with producers Fabrizio Grossi (Slash, Glenn Hughes, Dave Navarro, Steve Vai) and Ty Tabor (King's X) on their previous albums. The current edition of Diamondog are more vital and eager than ever.

MAGTESLØS
Magtesløs is an experimental metalcore band from Denmark. They mix
everything from heavy breakdowns to chaotic hardcore riffs and sing along
parts with positive energy. Magtesløs started playing shows in 2007 and is
now a strong live act with lots of attitude and great stage performance.
FEEL THE AFTERMATH
What to say about Feel the Aftermath? It's easy; they'll rock your socks off! Freaky stage madness, where the guys jump around, crawl, curl and twitch at a raging speed - leaving us all expecting
them to hurt themselves - badly - "any time now". Loud audio is the only appropriate way of letting the listener feel every drumbeat (and there are lots of them), and to know the depths of their crystal clear message - neither sugar coated nor shrink wrapped. Lyrically Feel the Aftermath has a "Symphony in Peril-like" credibility, but beyond their message the band stands on their own two feet, and they stand well. Or was it ten feet? And that they jump around pretty well? Well, the bottom line is; you won't regret checking out Feel the Aftermath.
